WATCH: CAC Men's Basketball Preseason Webcast

Middletown, Pa. - The Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team is getting ready for an action filled 2015-2016 season.  After adding 12 new players to this year's roster, the young Lions have energy and athleticism which should bring a fast paced game to the Capital Union Building (CUB) this opening weekend.  

The Lions are led by Senior's Anthony Morgan, Joshua Johnson, and Arick Sodini who will need to help coordinate the addition of so many new talented players quickly if they hope for a strong start to the season.  Sodini led the team in overall scoring, rebounds and field goal percentage last season while Morgan was the top per game scorer averaging 10.8 points per game.   

Penn State Harrisburg will start their season off against Rutgers-Camden on Saturday November 14th at 1:00pm in the Penn State Harrisburg Tip-Off Tournament Presented by HersheyPark.

YORK, Pa. -- Christopher Newport was selected as the preseason favorite in the 2015 CAC Men's Basketball Preseason Poll, voted on by the head coaches around the conference. CNU received eight first-place votes and totaled 80 points to sit atop the poll.

 Salisbury gained a pair of first-place votes and 68 points to nab second in the voting, slightly ahead of third-place St. Mary's (67 points). Mary Washington was next with 54 points, while Marymount wrapped up the top five with 44 points.

 Wesley was picked to finish sixth with a tally of 37 points, followed by York (33 points), Frostburg State (29 points), Penn State Harrisburg (27 points) and Southern Virginia (11 points).

 Last season, Salisbury captured its second CAC title in program history and first since 1995-96 with a dramatic championship game triumph over Christopher Newport. The Sea Gulls represented the CAC in the NCAA Tournament, advancing to the second round.
