Penn State Harrisburg Falls to Albright

Reading, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team looked to pick up their first victory of the season on the road Saturday November 22nd against a tough Albright team.  The hosting Lions had a different plan in mind as they sent the Blue and White home losing their fourth game of the season 75-62.

A fast start by Albright had Harrisburg in a hole early. Shooting 67% from the field and 67% from three, the Lions of Albright jumped on the Blue and White increasing their lead to 16 by the end of the first half.

With Penn State Harrisburg already in a hole, they struggled to make up the ground they gave up in the first half. The Blue and White were able to cut the lead to 9 at one point in the second half but the deficit proved to be too much to come back from as they ended up losing 75-62.

Leading the way for Penn State Harrisburg was Arick Sodini (Manalapan, Nj. / St. John Vianney), who led the team with 19 points and four boards in 32 minutes.  Also having a good game was Freshmen Tariq Bennett (Philadelphia, Pa. / Milton Hershey) who added 15 points and three rebounds on the night.

The men will be back in action Monday night November 24th at 7 P.M. when Susquehanna comes to the Penn State Harrisburg basketball arena.
