Repetz, Mikomoto Lead the Way at Dutchmen Invitational

Lebanon, Pa.- Veronica Repetz and Edgar Makimoto led the way for Penn State Harrisburg's cross country teams at the 44th annual Dutchmen Invitational, held at Union Canal Tunnel Park on Saturday September 10th.

On the women's side, newcomer Veronica Repetz placed the highest overall, finishing the 8k course in 21:29.45. Freshman Catherine Kaiser was close behind with a time of 23:53.25. Senior Kaitlin Gould also ran a strong race, coming home with a time of 27:17.75.
 

Senior Edgar Makimoto's 31:21.80 earned him the top spot for Penn State Harrisburg on the men's side. Teammate Thomas Vennochi III crossed the finish line after posting a time of 32:12.33. Scott Mundis finished the race in 32:45.55. Both sides finished the race in seventh place.

 Penn State Harrisburg will be back in action on Saturday September 17th. Both teams will travel to Penn State Abington for the Abington Invitational at 8 am.
