Harrisburg was 2-0 heading into their game with McDaniel Satuday.  The Green Terror took the first set 25-14, but the Blue and White fought back in set two and nearly made it a match losing 25-23.  After a quick third set,  Harrisburg was able to regroup nicely for their final match against Hood College.

Both teams came prepared, the first set went back and forth from start to finish.  Harrisburg played quality team volleyball and was able to hold off for the first set win 25-23.   They were able to win sets two and three with a little more ease and are now 3-1 after their impressive opening weekend.

As a bonus, Kerri Miller was named to the Gettysburg Battlefield Classic for her efforts throughout the weekend.

The Lions have a few days off before traveling to Marywood Thursday September 7th.

Coach Burkett said about the wins, "The team did a tremendous job at working together, even when the score wasn't in their favor. It was an all around team effort!"
