How it Happened:

The Lions entered the day looking to bounce back after a tough loss to Mary Washington last night but Christopher Newport and Washington and Lee proved too much for the young Lion squad. In the first match of the day, #20 Christopher Newport showed a balanced attack, moving the ball around and keeping the Blue and White on their heels throughout the match. The Captains would take the match in the end 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-12). In match two, Washington and Lee proved too big at the net, recording 13 blocks while also keeping the Lions from getting anything going offensively. The Generals would take the second match 3-0 (25-12, 25-7, 25-8).
