Lions Looking To Continue Momentum In CAC Championships

Harrisburg, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg Women's Track & Field team is by led a pair of Nationally ranked athletes into the CAC championships on May 4th and 5th at Salisbury University. Rae Rae Taylor and Sarah Lehman are both ranked in the top 50 in two events each.

Sarah Lehman has been dominate for the Lions this season at the jumping pits. Lehman is ranked 1st in the CAC in both the Long Jump and Triple Jump. Lehman's Triple Jump of 12.18 Meters is ranked 4th nationally, and her leap of 5.65 Meters in the Long Jump is ranked 16th nationally. Lehman is also ranked 8th in the CAC in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.33.

Rae Rae Taylor has done a little bit of everything for the Lions this season. Taylor currently is ranked first in the conference in the Heptathlon scoring 4,438 points. Competing in the Heptathlon, Taylor has participated in a wide variety of events. Taylor is ranked 1st in the CAC in the Javelin Throw with a toss of 38.10 Meters. Taylor is ranked second in the CAC in the High Jump, 1.55 Meters, and second in the CAC in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.48 Meters. The Long Jump mark, puts Taylor 49th nationally. Also in the CAC, Taylor is ranked 3rd in the Triple Jump, 10.69 Meters, 7th in the Shot Put, 11.06 Meters, and 10th in the 100 Meters, 12.82 seconds.

Rachale Hair has also had a strong spring for the Lions. Hair is ranked 3rd in both the Discus Throw and Javelin Throw.
