Lehman, Taylor Earn All-CAC Honors

Fredericksburg, VA - Freshman Sarah Lehman has been named Capital Athletic Conference Rookie of the Year for the Indoor season. Lehman and freshman teammate Rae Ray Taylor were also named to the 1st and 2nd All-CAC Teams.

Sarah Lehman has excelled all season and capped off an already impressive first season with a meet record breaking performance in the Triple Jump at this past weekends Capital Athletic Conference Championships.  Earlier in the season, Sarah broke the conference record in the Triple Jump and tied her record breaking perfomance Saturday to also become the Championship Meet record holder with a distance of 11.48 Meters.  Sarah was the first person in school history to earn the Rookie of the Year Honor. 

Sarah placed first in the Triple Jump earning her the 1st Team All-CAC honor and finished 2nd in the Long Jump to earn 2nd Team honors to her teammate Rae Rae Taylor

Rae Rae had the opposite results of Sarah earning 1st place in the Long Jump and 2nd in the Triple Jump, earning her the 1st and 2nd Team All-CAC Honors.  Rae Rae's CAC winning jump of 5.34 Meters would break the Penn State Harrisburg School Record.  

Both ladies will compete next weekend at the ECAC Championships in New York City in hopes of improving their marks and earing their first qualification to the NCAA Championships on March 9-10 in Birmingham, Alabama.
