Penn State Harrisburg Women's Track & Field team returned to Susquehanna University to participate in the Orange & Maroon Classic. Competing against CAC foes Frostburg St and York as well as several local Division III opponents brought out the best out in the Lions.
Ashley Williams won the 60 Meter Hurdles with a time 9.06 seconds. Williams improved to first in the CAC Standings and she now owns the fifth best time in NCAA Division III.
Elsewhere in the on the track, Rae Rae Taylor took first in the 60 Meter dash with a time of 8.23 seconds. Sephora Senestant recorded her best time in the 800 Meter with a time of 2:47.17. Senestant is now ranked seventh in the CAC.
Sarah Lehman had another good showing at the pits. Lehman finished second in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.22 meters. Lehman then took first in the Triple Jump traveling 11.30 meters.
Rachale Hair recorded a school record in the weight throw, with a toss of 10.95 meters. Hair also had her best throw of the season in the Shot Put, with a throw of 9.95 meters.
The Lions will travel to Bucknell Friday January 26th and Saturday January 27th to compete in the Bison Open.
