The Penn State Harrisburg women's track and field team opened up the 2017 outdoor season with strong individual performances at the 33rd Jim Taylor Invitational held by Susquehanna University. 

Women's Top Finishers:

Veronica Repetz: In the women's 5000 meter run, Repetz placed 24th with a time of 20: 43.09

Ashley Williams: Williams took home a first place finish in the women's 100 meter hurdles with a time of 15.31 seconds. Williams also finished in 21st place in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a finish of 1:17.25

Abrianna Hambry: Hambry placed 16th in the women's shot put with a distance of 9.82 meters

Alexis Imler: In the women's javelin throw, Imler placed 20th with a distance of 29.04 meters
