Women's Tennis Team Finds First Victory of Spring Versus Lancaster Bible College

MIDDLETOWN, PA. - The Penn State Harrisburg Women's Tennis team played host to Lancaster Bible College on Monday and managed to find their way into the win column for the first time this spring in the process.  The Lions defeated the Chargers, 6-3, snapping a losing streak that had carried over from the previous fall.  Sydney Nye and Maria Torre won their doubles match against Greta Strunk and Lynndath Thelemaque, 9-7, 8-6.  TianChang Lou and Sarah Shahria also defeated Brianne Smith and Kayla Weaser, 8-2.  In the singles contests, Nye defeated Strunk by forfeit, while Torre, Lou, and Shahriar all collected victories as well.
