Harrisburg Falls on the Road to Frostburg

Frostburg, Md.- After a difficult loss to Mary Washington this week, the Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team looked to get their first conference win. The women fell 9-0 today against Frostburg State.

Double's partners Fay Ansary (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey) and Sarah Shahriar (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey) put up a fight but fell 8-5 to Ashley Smith and Emma Serbert. Nandita Munindra (Edison, N.J / John P. Stevens) and Jessica Miller (Manheim, Pa. / Manheim Central) also fell in their doubles match, 8-4.
 
In the singles matches, Miller battled Kaitlin Lemmert in three sets but could not come up with a win. The Lion's dropped their remaining singles matches to the Bobcats.
 

The Lion's will travel to St. Mary's on Wednesday March 30th for their third conference game of the season. Harrisburg will look to get their first conference win. Game time is set for 3:30 pm.
