Women’s Tennis Has Strong Spring Start

Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team started their spring schedule with a quality performance and 6-3 win over the Lancaster Bible Chargers on Thursday March 17th

Leading the charge for the Lions were #1 seed Nandita Munindra (Edison, N.J. / John P. Stevens) and #2 seed Jessica Miller (Manheim, PA / Manheim Central) who won both of their singles matches and combined in doubles for an 8-3 win. 

The Blue and White won the #1 and #3 doubles pairing to take a 2-1 lead into singles competition.  The Lions top three singles players all won in two set matches to clitch the win for Harrisburg.

Penn State Harrisburg starts their conference schedule this weekend when the travel to Mary Washington on Saturday March 19th and St. Mary's Sunday March 20th
