Penn State Harrisburg women's tennis team refused to be shut out against the Frostburg State Bobcats thanks to the efforts of Morgan Acker's #5 singles win.
Harrisburg was a close as they could get in the #1 doubles match. Theodora Avramidis / Stephanie Harnden went the distance, but came up just short losing 9-8. Acker/ Laura Lin kept things close at the #3 doubles pairing losing 8-5.
All the women battled for at least one win at each singles position, but only one Lion was able to end the day with a positive result. Acker took down Sara Hildebrand in two straight set 6-4, 6-5 in what was a very strong day for the Freshman.
