How It Happened
Penn State Harrisburg fell in non-conference action to #16 Dickinson College 4-1 on Wednesday October 16. Hollie Holthaus scored her team high fourth goal of the season in the 36th minute.
Dickinson got off to a fast start, when in the sixth minute Meg Tate scored her first goal of the night. With the Lions defense on their heels early, the Red Devils continued to push the attack, peppering Lions goalie Hannah Williams with shots. Williams kept the Lions in the game making a season-high 14 saves on the night. Tate would again strike for the Red Devils in the 27th minute, giving them a 2-0 advantage.
The Blue & White looked to respond, and began to put pressure on Dickinson's defense. Madison Hemler would rip the Lions first shot on goal, but the Red Devils goalkeeper Emily Hull made the save. Moments later Elizabeth Clippinger launched a shot that missed just wide of the goal. Harrisburg's offense would finally break through with Hollie Holthaus scoring her fourth goal of the season in the 36th minute, pulling Harrisburg back within a goal. The Lions would use the momentum to keep the score the same heading into the half.
The Red Devils would start the second half much like they did the first half, with Tate completing the hat trick scoring her third goal of the game in the 54th minute. The Lions looked to respond when Eden Haldeman put a shot on frame, but once again Hull made the save. The Lions could not find the back of the net and a Dickinson goal in the 78th minute, put the game out of reach.

Who's Next?
The Lions will return home to face North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Co-leader Keuka in a critical matchup. Before the game, the Lions will honor their nine senior players as part of the senior day festivities.
