How It Happened

Penn State Harrisburg could not overcome an early deficit, falling to Elizabethtown College in their first road contest 4-0.

The Blue Jays would take an early lead when Lydia Lawson scored her first of two goals in the 22nd minute. The Lions would settle in and stay within a goal thanks to Hannah Williams efforts in goal. Williams would make eight saves in the contest.

Elizabethtown would take full control of the game in the second half, scoring in the 54th and 62nd minutes to take a 3-0 advantage. The Blue Jays outshot the Lions 29-2, stifling any chance of a comeback.
