Frostburg, MD – Penn State Harrisburg fell in CAC action to Frostburg State, despite an impressive effort from Tessa Dolce. Dolce recorded 20 points to lead all scores and added a team high 7 rebounds. Janel Brown added 14 points including 4 three-pointers. How it Happened:
After falling behind by ten points to start the game, the Lions would close the first quarter on an 11-4 run to close the gap. Shanique Mattis would knock down a three pointer and finish a layup to cut into the deficit. Mattis would get a steal and score in the last three seconds of the first quarter. The Blue & White would fall behind by 7 points in the second quarter until Jordann Wilson made three straight layups and a convert the last into a three point play to tie the game at 23. The teams would trade the lead back and forth with the Bobcats taking a three point advantage into halftime.
The Lions would close within two points early in the third quarter, but were unable to capture the lead. The Bobcats used a consistent balanced attack to slowly pull away. Allowing 20 points in the quarter, the Lions entered the final period down by 10. Janel Brown would hit three three-point shots, but it was not enough as the Lions could not overcome the deficit.

After the game Head Coach Ross Patrick said, "Slow starts have been something we are working on and it hurt us again tonight, as well as struggles at the foul line. We are putting pieces together, but yet to connect all the dots. We will keep working, we will keep grinding, and get ready for Salisbury on Saturday."
