Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball team cruised to their second straight conference win on Wednesday evening when Wesley came to town. The Blue and White dominated the first three quarters to secure an early lead and went on to win 66-57

Game Highlights
-Both sides were very evenly matched the first seven minutes of the match before Harrisburg pulled ahead thanks to a three-point jump shot from Alexis Nolan followed by two layups from Tessa Dolce.

-Wesley cut the Lion's first half lead to two with under five minutes to go in the second quarter before Harrisburg fought back with their own 6-0 run. Harrisburg led at the half 34-26

-Shanique Mattis came out hot in the third quarter sinking three straight baskets of her own to lead Wesley 40-28. The Lion's largest lead of the night came with 3:36 to go in the third as Tessa Dolce finished her jumper to put Harrisburg on top 48-31. Wesley outscored the Lion's 19-13 in the final quarter but Harrisburg's early lead proved to be too much as they held on to win 66-57

-Tessa Dolce paced the Blue and White with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Teammate Kaitlyn Carmo was close behind with 14 points of her own and 5 rebounds. Harrisburg forced 24 turnovers by the Wolverines and finished 28 points in the paint to grab their fifth conference win of the year

Penn State Harrisburg will host Marymount (Va.) on Saturday February 18th at 1 pm. The Lion's will celebrate the teams senior class and their last regular season game of the season
