St. Mary's, Md.- The Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball team played a close match with the St. Mary's Seahawks on Saturday December 10th. The Lion's struggled in the first half to find their stride but came out in the second half and dominated 40-28. Unfortunately, the home team's first half lead proved to be too much for Harrisburg as they fell 68-59.

-Penn State Harrisburg improved in the second before Alexis Nolan opened things up in the third with 5 points right off the bat to bring the Lion's within 16 of the Gulls. Kaitlyn Carmo scored 9 of her 19 points in the third to try and get Harrisburg back on track
-With only three minutes to go in the fourth, the Blue and White brought the game within 6 of the home team. St. Mary's held on to the lead despite Harrisburg's impressive second half effort
