Lions Suffer Tough Loss at Home

Penn State Harrisburg couldn't find an answer for Mary Washington's offense Saturday January 17th eventually losing by a score of 76-41. 

The Eagles came out looking to put the Lions down early jumping out on a 10-2 run to start the game.  The Lions fought back to get within three with 6:58, before the Eagles went on a 11-4 run to end the half to put the Blue and White down by 10 at the half. 

As the teams came out for the second half the Eagles didn't slow down at all, jumping out on a 16-5 run with 12:01 left.  Harrisburg tried to fight thier way back into the contest without success.  Mary Washington pulled out their 11th win of the year beating the Lions 76-41. 

Leading the way for the Lions with 10 points was Becca Bailey (Tobyhanna, Pa./ Notre Dame East Stroudsburg) followed by Kiara Carter (Bronx, NY./ Milton Hershey) who had nine points and six rebounds.

The Blue and White will be in action this upcoming Wednesday January 21st at 6 p.m. when Marymount (Va.) comes to town.
