Boyd Throws Gem, Fisher Goes Yard; Lions Split Again

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Penn State Harrisburg split a doubleheader in Myrtle Beach for the second-straight day.  Senior pitcher Kara Boyd (Alexandria, Pa. / Juniata Valley) threw a gem in the team's 2-0 win over Cabrini, giving up just three hits and striking out 11 batters and freshman outfielder Rachel Fisher hit her first collegiate home run.  

The ladies struggled offensively in the second outing of the morning and fell to a strong Ursinus squad 15-0.  The Blue & White managed just three hits and four baserunners in the loss to the Bears.
