    MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Lady Lions were finally able to put together a complete game of pitching, hitting and fielding and boy did they look good. Erika Sorenson (Red Land/York, PA) took the mound for the Lady Lions and opposing her for Penn State Schuylkill was former Penn State Harrisburg pitcher Cassie Beckett. It was Schuylkill who drew first blood in the top of the first inning. Kristen Bronowich singled to start the game and Sorenson struggled to gain control of her pitches after that, as she walked in a run without Schuylkill getting another hit in the inning.
  • Lady Lions Softball Home Opener

    MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions softball team hosted their first game of the 2009 season on March 18th. The Blue and White opened there home season with a double header against the Red Devils of Dickinson College. Having struggled a bit on the road to start the season the Lady Lions were eager to play at home and try to get a little momentum going.

    GANSEVOORT, NY - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) concluded the spring season with its Conference Championship tournaments in baseball, softball, and men´s and women´s lacrosse on Friday, May 1 and 2, 2009. Keuka College hosted women´s softball and men´s lacrosse as the number one seed, while Cazenovia College hosted men´s baseball and women´s lacrosse as the number one seed.

    MIDDLETOWN, PA - The Penn State Harrisburg Lady Lions hosted the Penn College of Technology in a double header at Penn State Harrisburg Softball Field on March 24th. The Lady Lions had picked up their first win in the last double header and really started to look like a team to be reckoned with. The Lady Lions struck first with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the first inning. After the first two batters recorded outs, Emily Pae (Susquehanna Township/Harrisburg, PA) got the inning going with a walk.
