Mundis Finishes on Top at DeSales Invitational

Center Valley, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's cross country teams traveled to DeSales on Saturday October 8th for the DeSales Invitational. Overall the men placed 26th out of 38 teams while the women finished 30th out of a total of 35 teams. 

Top Men's Finishers

-Freshman Scott Mundis was the top finisher for the Lions on the 8K course. Mundis finished the race with an overall time of 29:23

-Close behind was teammate Edgar Makimoto who was less than one minute behind Mundi with a time of 30:22

-Thomas Vennochi III placed third for Harrisburg as he posted a time of 30:50

-Kadeem Willis was one slot behind as he crossed the finish line in a time of 31:04

Top Women's Finishers

-Freshman Veronica Repetz continues to lead for the Blue and White as the top finisher for Harrisburg with an impressive time of 24:56 for the women's 6K

-Senior Logan Akers was the second Harrisburg runner, crossing the finish line at 26:34

-Catherine Kaiser rounded out the top three with a time of 27:46

-Janelle Codling posted a time of 38 minutes

 

Both teams will travel to Gettysburg College for the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday October 15th
