  • Under the direction of head coach Danielle Lynch, Sarah Brotzman is the first throws coach at Penn State Harrisburg.  Coaching the Lions’ is Brotzman’s first collegiate coaching position.
  • Brotzman helped multiple athletes place at the CAC Outdoor Conference Championship in 2015 and 2016 with standout representation from Cameron Yon who place 1st in the discus at CACs, 2nd at ECACs, and 3rd at the Division III NCAA Championship meet which also qualified him for the USTFCCCAs in California. Yon is the first NCAA All-American in the history of Penn State Harrisburg.
  • A throws standout herself and graduate of Shippensburg University, Brotzman earned 2 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference titles in the discus and 9 All-PSAC titles that helped contribute to 4 indoor and 4 outdoor PSAC team titles. By maintaining a 3.5 GPA and being nationally ranked in the discus and hammer, Brotzman earned 3 NCAA All-Academic titles throughout her time at Ship.
  • In 2013, Brotzman earned her cum laude Bachelors of Arts in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from Shippensburg University.
  • Starting in the fall of 2015, Brotzman started her Master’s Degree at Messiah College in Higher Education with a split concentration in Student Affairs and Collegiate Athletic Leadership. While earning her Master’s she was selected and completed an ACUHO-I internship, one of the most prestigious internships available in student affairs, at Savannah College of Art and Design. Brotzman currently resides in her native McAlisterville, PA.
