White Earns CAC Weekly Honor

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Thanks to his strong performance at Lehigh's Fast Times Before Finals meet over the weekend, Penn State Harrisburg's Alex White has been named the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

The jumper hung with some of the best performers at the event that included a number of NCAA Division I and Division II athletes. The junior was the second-highest finisher among Division III competitors in the high jump thanks to his top leap of 1.90 meters. The Mifflintown native also just missed out on a top-three finish in the long jump after recording a top bound of 6.84 meters in the event.

White and the rest of his Blue & White teammates will get an extended break to enjoy the holiday season before returning to action at St. Thomas Aquinas' Spartan Invitational on Friday, Jan. 11.
