State College, Pa. - Penn State Harrisburg men's track and field team sent four athletes to Penn State to try to improve their marks to qualify for the post season that is fast approaching. Competing for the lions at University Park was Derrick Young, Xavier Smith, Vladhimir Theophile, and Josiah Owhe. Owhe took 2nd in the long jump (6.40 Meters) and 3rd in the 100 meter Dash (11.21 sec) while Young finished right behind him in the Long jump with a 6.39 meter attempt. Smith and Theophile competed in the 400 meter dash where they finished 6th (51.32) and 7th (51.33) respectively. The Lions will travel to Allegheny University on Friday May 12th for another chance to improve their marks entering ECAC next week.
