Penn State Harrisburg Men's Track and Field Post Strong Finishes at Susquehanna

In a very competitive field of Division I, II and III athletes at the 33rd Annual Jim Taylor Invitational Outdoor Track and Field meet Saturday in Selinsgrove, the Penn State Harrisburg men's track and field team posted several top finishes to begin the 2017 outdoor season. 

 Men's Top Finishers:

The men's relay team made up by Vladhimir Theophile, Jalil Clayton, Derrick Young, and Josiah Owhe placed third in the 4X100 meter relay with an impressive time of 42.92 seconds. Theophile, Clayton, Young, and Kevin Afoakwah placed sixth in the men's 4X400 meter relay with a time of 3:33.67

Joe Rebarchak: In the men's javelin throw, Rebarchak broke a Penn State Harrisburg record by three meters and placed seventh overall with a distance of 53.04 meters 

Jalil Clayton: Clayton placed first overall in the men's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 56.01 seconds. Clayton placed third in the men's 110 meter hurdles with a time of 15.73 seconds. Clayton also finished seventh in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.36 seconds

Josiah Owhe: In the men's 100-meter dash, Owhe placed fourth with a finish of 11.26 seconds. Owhe also placed ninth in the men's 200 meter dash

Vladhimir Theophile: In the men's 400 meter dash, Theophile placed fifth for the blue and white with a time of 50.19 seconds

Cameron Yon: Yon placed first in the men's discus throw with a distance of 49.65 meters. Yon placed 13th in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 37.43 meters  

Alex White: In the men's triple jump, White placed sixth with a distance of 12.67 meters. White also placed third in the men's high jump with a jump of 1.92 meters
