Ithaca, NY- The Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's indoor track and field teams travelled to Ithaca College over the weekend to participate in the ECAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Derrick Young placed fourth in the men's heptathlon and Ashley Williams earned a first place finish in the women's 60 meter hurdles.
Alex White: In the men's high jump, White finished 8th with a jump of 1.88 meters. White earned one point for the Lion's overall score
Derrick Young: Young placed fourth in the men's heptathlon, earning Penn State Harrisburg 5 of their six points among the men's side. Within the heptathlon Young placed 1st in the men's 60-meter dash, 3rd in the 60 meter hurdles, and 1st in the long jump. Young and White earned a total of 6 points to put the men's side in 34th place out of 41 teams.
Ashley Williams placed first in the women's 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.99 seconds. Williams earned 10 points for the women's team to put them in 23rd place out of a total of 33 teams.
