Lion's Compete at Orange and Maroon Classic

Selinsgrove, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's track and field teams were back in action today as they competed in the Orange and Maroon Classic at Susquehanna University. The women's side was led by Ashley Williams while the men's side had several strong performances. 

Women's Highlights

-Ashley Williams finished first in the women's 60 meter hurdles with a finish of 9.12 seconds

-Veronica Repetz was the top finisher for the Lion's in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:39.36

Men's Highlights

-Cameron Yon placed third overall in the weighted throw with a distance of 14.42 meters

-Jared Alpaugh placed fourth in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.38 meters

-Derrick Young placed eighth in the long jump with a distance of 6.14 meters

-Alex White finished fourth in the high jump with a distance of 1.88 meters

-Men's Distance Medley: Kadeem Willis, Scott Mundis, Kevin Afoakwa, and Jacob Kaminski-Malnardi placed seventh with a time of 12:01.29. Afaokwa, Jalil Clayton, Willis, and Vladhimir Theophile also placed fourth in the men's 4x400 relay

-Josiah Owhe finished third in the men's' 60 meter dash with a time of 7.05 seconds. Owhe also placed fourth in the men's 200-meter dash

-Vladhimir Theophile placed second in the 400 meter dash with a time of 51.76 seconds
