Men's Tennis Team Smashes Rival Bobcats in Mid-Week Romp

FROSTBURG, MD. - The Penn State Harrisburg Men's Tennis team played host to Frostburg State University on Wednesday and proved to be too much for the visiting Bobcats, who were shut out by the dominating Lions, 9-0.  Austin Pokopec and Rafael Fernandes led the onslaught, winning their doubles match convincingly, 8-0.  Fernandes also won his singles match, 6-0, 6-0, while Pokopec found similar success in his win, 6-0, 6-1.  The Only set won by the Bobcats came in the final singles match of the day between Harrisburg's Jonah Melnic and Frostburg's Toneeb Arowonwon.  Arowonwon won the first set, 6-2, but Melnic battled back to complete the sweep, winning set two, 6-3, and set three, 10-4.
