Lion's Fall to Salisbury

Middletown, Pa.- The Penn State Harrisburg men's and women's tennis teams hosted Salisbury for their fourth conference matchup of the season. Both teams fell to the visitors on Saturday afternoon, with the men losing 8-1 and the women 9-0.

In the men's doubles match, Rafael Fernandes (Valinhos, Brazil / Colegio Visconde de Porto Seguro) and Tyler Cook (Harve de Grace, Md. / Harve de Grace) fell 8-3 to Salisbury as well as Marco Guerro (Delran, N.J / Deliah) and Ethan Finger (Lancaster, Pa. / Conestoga Valley). John Parola (Moscow, Pa. / North Pocono HS) brought home Harrisburg's only win after coming back, 2-6, 6-4, and 10-5 in his singles match.

The women lost all three doubles matches, 8-0. Sarah Shahriar (Hummelstown, Pa. / Hershey) was able to get a point past the Sea Gulls in her singles match as well as teammate Skyler Buschinski (Hanover, Pa. / Southwestern). The women dropped each of their six singles matches.
 

Both teams will play Southern Virginia at home on Saturday April 9th
