Lepore and Magee Standout Against St. Mary's (Md.)

The Penn State Harrisburg men's tennis team competed against the St. Mary's (Md.)  Seahawks on Sunday April 6th.  It was their third match in three days, but the men refused to go down without a fight.

In Doubles action Austin King / Tyler Loy came the closest to snatching an early win from the home team.  They forced the Seahawks to the wire in a close 9-7 win over Harrisburg at the #3 spot.

In Singles, the Blue and White were up for the challenge.  Chris Magee was able to pull in a solid 6-3, 6-4 straight set victory at the #3 singles spot to get the Lions on the board.  Vincent Lepore III followed suit also winning in straight sets with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the #6 spot.

After the very difficult three day road trip, the Lions are now 0-4 in conference play.  They will get two more chances this week when they face off against Southern Virginia and Frostburg St. on Friday and Saturday.
