How It Happened

The Penn State Harrisburg Men's Soccer team fell on the road to #17 Mary Washington by a score of 5-0.

The Lions stumbled out of the gate allowing the Eagles to score in the 10th minute. Harrisburg would struggle to counter against the Eagles defense. Aaron Smith would rip a shot in the 29th minute; it however was turned away by the Eagles goalie Ken Kurtz. The Eagles would strike again in the 35th, and would hold to 2-0 advantage heading into the half.

The Lions would open the second half on the attack, with an Eric Caldwell header going just wide of the goal in the 48th minute. The Eagles would counter the Lions pressure, scoring three times in an eight-minute span to put the game out of reach.

Inside the Numbers

- The Eagles outshot the Lions 13-6
