Men's Soccer Continues to Receive Votes In National Rankings

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – For the third consecutive week, Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer is receiving votes in the D3soccer.com national rankings. It is the first time in program history that the Lions have earned mention in the poll three weeks in a row.

For head coach Dan Krzyzanowicz, it is the ninth time in his illustrious career that a program under his watch has earned inclusion in the rankings. Harrisburg received 13 votes, good enough for 39th in the poll.

The Lions (13-1-2) are fresh off a 1-1 double overtime draw at Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) foe York (Pa.), another program receiving votes in the D3soccer.com rankings this week. The Blue & White have been especially potent on defense, with the unit currently surrendering just .321 goals per outing, a number good enough to rank third in the country. The offense also sits eighth in the nation with 47 total goals scored.

Penn State Harrisburg returns to action when it hosts conference opponent Southern Virginia at Nittany Soccer Field on Saturday afternoon.
