Hunter Cooper made five saves in goal for the Lions, holding the Spartans in check for most of the game. Chase Vilga fired three shots, but was unable to find the back of the net.

How it Happened:
The Lions and Spartans played evenly through the first 34 minutes, but the Spartans scored the in the 35th minute taking control of the contest. The Lions would press the attack the rest of the way, but the York counterattack delievered two more goals, putting the game out of reach for the Lions.
