  • Penn State Harrisburg Men's Soccer Announces 1st Annual Alumni Game

    Harrisburg, Pa- Penn State Harrisburg Men's Soccer Team announces their 1st Annual Alumni Game which will take place on Saturday, April 21st at 1:00 PM. The event will be free to participate in for all alumni and for participating in the game, each player will receive a free T-Shirt and food & drinks at a postgame tailgate. All of our alumni are also invited to attend our Men's Soccer Banquet following the match. 
  • 68 Student-Athletes Make Fall Dean's List

    Harrisburg, Pa - Penn State Harrisburg wants to recognize its outstanding Student-Athletes who are excelling in the class room and on the field. This fall across all 17 of the Intercollegiate Teams, 68 Student-Athletes earned a 3.5 GPA or higher, placing them on the Fall Deans List. Congratulation to the following Student-Athletes: 
  • Vilga, Weaver Named To All-CAC Teams

    Harrisburg, Pa- The Capital Athletic Conference announed its Men's Soccer All-CAC teams featuring Penn State Harrisburg's Chase Vilga and Victor Weaver. Vilga lead the Lions in scoring with 10 goals and 8 assists. He netted two game winning goals for the Blue & White this season. Weaver, who received all CAC honors last season, scored 7 goals and added 4 assists. Weaver is the school's all-time leader in career assists. 
  • Harrisburg Receives ECAC Bid

    Harrisburg, Pa - Penn State Harrisburg Men's Soccer team has earned a bid into the ECAC tournament. The Lions will travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to face overall top seed Penn State Behrend at 11:00 AM. This will be the Lions thrid trip to ECAC's in the last four years. Last season saw the Lions reach ECAC Semi-Final defeating Penn State Altoona and Alfred College.  
  • Aman Nets Sixth Goal

    Harrisburg, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg fell in a heartbreaker to Mary Washington in its final regular season contest. The Lions took an early lead when headed passes from Victor Weaver and Josiah Malinich found the feet of Chase Vilga. After falling behind 2-1, Nnamdi Ikeazor flicked a ball on to Joey Aman who buried the shot in the back of the net leveling the score. Mary Washington would build a 4-2 lead, when the Lions tried to rally late with Christian Schmoyer scoring with a header off a Weaver free kick. The Blue & White could not find another equalizer falling 4-3.   
  • Weaver Hat Trick Highlights Impressive Senior Day Win

    Middletown Pa, - Senior Victor Weaver helped lead the Lions to an impressive 4-1 win over Marymount University in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) match that had serious playoff implications. Weaver scored three times in the contest for his first hat trick of his career.
  • Lions Struggle In Road Loss to Bobcats

    Frostburg, Md. – Penn State Harrisburg struggled to find its rhythm on Wednesday night, falling 2-0 to Frostburg State. The Lions struggled to control play and were only able to take 4 shots during the game. Defensively, Hunter Cooper made 4 saves in goal for the Lions. With the loss, Penn State Harrisburg falls to 3-4 in conference play.
  • Weaver Scores Fourth Goal of the Season

    Newport News, Va. – Victor Weaver scored his fourth goal of the season, but the Lions could not overcome the Captains offensive attack falling 4-1. The Lions drew six corner kicks in the first half, but could not capitalize on any of those opportunities.
  • Ikeazor leads lions to rainy win over Wesley

    The Lions were forced into a battle with the elements and Wesley in Middletown as rain bombarded the pitch. Lead by Senior forward Nnamdi Ikeazor the raider were able to overcome the elements earning a 3-0 win. Ikeazor was in attack mode all game getting in 3 shots, culminated by a perfectly timed run in the 67th minute scoring the lions second goal of the game putting the game out of reach.
  • Hoover Shot Puts Down Seagulls

    Salisbury, Md. - The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team put together 90 minutes of fight and team effort in their match against the Salisbury Seagulls on Saturday October 7th. In the end, a Brandon Hoover strike was the ultimate difference in the impressive and important 1-0 win...full recap coming soon.
  • Lions Fail To Capitalize Against York
    October 04, 2017
    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg could not finish any opportunities against York College falling 3-0. With the loss the Lions fall to (1-2) in CAC play. Hunter Cooper made five saves in goal for the Lions, holding the Spartans in check for most of the game. Chase Vilga fired three shots, but was unable to find the back of the net. 
  • Chase Vilga nets his 8th goal of the season as the lions bounce with a 3-0 win over southern Virginia.

    It was a cold breezy day in Middletown, but the Lions offense was on fire from the beginning. The Lions controlled the tempo from the start creating a plethora of offensive opportunities. The aggressive offensive attack finally paid off with a beautiful touch in the 18th minute by Christian Schmoyer to put the lions up 1.
  • Kotby Nets Third Goal of The Season

    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg's rally came up short as the Lion's fell in their final nonconference game against Susquehanna University. Mohamed Kotby netted his third goal of the season and Chase Vilga netted his eighth, but the Lions could not keep pace with the Riverhawks attack. 
  • Schmoyer Goal Powers Lions to Victory

    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg overcame the heat and a game Lancaster Bible team, earning a 1-0 victory. Christian Schmoyer scored the game’s loan goal in the 34th minute after Victor Weaver drove a corner kick into the box that was booted around until it found Schmoyer’s feet.   
  • Harrisburg Forced to Battle in First CAC Match
    September 23, 2017
    St. Mary’s, Md. – The Lions traveled to St. Mary’s for their first Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) game on Saturday September 23rd.  In a physical contest that had both teams receiving a few yellow cards and the referee staying busy calling fouls, the Lions fell short 1-0 to the Seahawks.   
  • Vilga Named ECAC Offensive Player of The Week
    September 21, 2017
    Vilga tallied four goals and three assists in a 2-1 week for the Lions. The senior opened the week with a two-goal, two-assist performance in a win over Clarks Summit University, before notching a goal and an assist in a triumph over Penn State Berks. The midfielder/forward then closed out the week with the Lions' lone goal in a 2-1 victory over Elizabethtown College.

    Fredericksburg- Penn State Harrisburg senior Chase Vilga was selected as the CAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this year after tallying four goals and three assists in a 2-1 week for the Lions. Vilga opened the week with a two-goal, two-assist performance in a win over Clarks Summit, before notching a goal and an assist in a triumph over Penn State Berks. Vilga then closed out the week with the Lions' lone goal in a 2-1 defeat to Elizabethtown.
  • Schmoyer and Elnahrawy Score in Tough Loss to Keystone

    La Plume, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team traveled to face off against Keystone College on Tuesday September 19, 2017.  It was the last game prior to the Blue and White starting Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) action this Saturday.  The Lions were able to battle back twice to even the score, but the Giants third goal proved enough to claim a 3-2 win in the evenly matched contest. 
  • Penn State Harrisburg takes E-Town to overtime losing 2-1

    Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team took on E-Town college in a hard fought OT thriller. The game remained tied for much of the game eventually going to overtime. PSU created multiple chances in overtime but were not able to come out on top.
  • Harrisburg Pulls Away From Penn State Berks

    Middletown, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg improved to 6-0, after dispatching former NEAC rival Penn State Berks. The Lions used three second half goals to put the game out of reach.
  • Lions Dominate Defenders

    Penn State Harrisburg improved to 5-0 on the season with a dominating 8-1 victory. Six different players found the back of the net in a complete team effort. Harrisburg would play thirty players during the match including three different goalies.
  • Lions Rally to Beat Knights

    Aston, Pa.- Penn State Harrisburg improved to 4-0 on the season defeating Neumann University by a score of 2-1. The Lions fell behind after allowing their first goal this season of the season, but rallied back behind goals from Ethan Hoover and Victor Weaver.

    Middletown Pa. - Toma Nilchik scored his third goal of the season on way to another shut out win for the Lions. After a slow start, the superior Blue and White squad took charge of the game en route to a 4-0 win over the Medgar Ever Cougars Monday September 4th.
  • Lions Men's Soccer Ready for Another Trip to CAC Playoffs...Preseason Video and Poll Release

    The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team had nothing to be ashamed of in their 2016 campaign. Under first year Head Coach Daniel Krzyzanowicz, the Lions found themselves in the CAC playoff picture for the second time in the past three seasons. This year, Harrisburg is young and hungry to prove to the conference they are a regular playoff bound squad.
  • Lions Score Three in Second Half for Impressive Start to Season

    Middletown, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg men’s soccer team weathered the storm of the first 15 minutes when Ramapo College looked dangerous in the final third.  The Road Runners earned a multitude of free kicks just outside the Lions 18 yard box, but were unable to connect.  After a scoreless first half, The Blue and White played with passion and purpose in the second on way to an impressive 3-0 win to start their season.
