How it Happened

-Both teams battled back and forth the first twenty minutes of the game before Southern Virginia earned the first goal of the night off of a deflection 20 yards out from goal

-The Lion's had several quality opportunities throughout the first half but were unable to find the back of the net

-Victor Weaver sent the Lion's first goal home only 47 seconds into the second half off of an assist from Ethan Hoover

-Chase Vilga closed out the scoring in the 56th minute of play as he finished a cross at back post from Jonathan Majin
