Penn State Harrisburg Takes Down Marymount

Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team ventured to Marymount University hoping to keep their playoff chances alive and well. The Lions have proven that they are capable of winning on the road and were looking to bring home their second conference road win of the year.

Harrisburg took an early lead when Mike Jones scored the game's first goal, his first of the season. The Lions have shown that they are capable of shutting out some of the best teams and were able to shut out Marymount as they held on for a 1-0 victory.

Coach Seamus Donnelly had this to say after his team's hard fought win. "This wasn't our finest performance by a long shot, but at this stage of the campaign it sometimes comes down to finding a way to get the win and move up the table. We did that, and now we start the preparation for Frostburg State. I'm very proud of these boys."

The Lions will host Frostburg State Wed. Oct.22 for a 5:00 p.m. kick-off.
