Lions Fall to Wolverines on Road

The Penn State Harrisburg men's soccer team played a hard fought 90 minutes of soccer, but were unable to come away with the win against the Wesley Wolverines Tuesday evening. The lions tried to claw their way back into the match after surrendering two goals in the first thirty minutes, but they did not have enough in the tank to pull of the comeback victory on the road.

The blue and white looked to build on their outstanding season and recently dubbed number seven regional ranking on the road Tuesday evening, but the hosting Wolverines had a different plan in mind.  After two goals by Wesley in the first half, the lions regrouped and Sophomore forward Alex Panuccio (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Mechanicsburg Area) netted his fourth goal of the season just thirty seconds after Wesley's second score to keep the Penn State Harrisburg within striking distance. The lions outshot Wesley 16-11 the remainder of the game, but were not able to find the back of the net.

Penn State Harrisburg drops to 9-4 on the season and will look to get back on track Saturday at Marymount (Va) at 1pm.
