MIDDLETOWN, PA - Monday´s 1-0 victory against the Aggies of Delaware Valley College gives the Nittany Lions their 6th shutout victory on the season and second 1-0 victory in a row. Delaware Valley´s Goalkeeper Steve Richtmyer had a game high 15 saves to keep the Aggies in the match, but the Lions offense proved to be superior ripping 31 shots towards the goal keeper.
In the 12th minute, Josh McMahon (Bishop McDevitt/Harrisburg, PA) kicked the unassisted, game winning goal for the blue and white giving him a total of three goals on the season. With the combination of the Nittany Lions´ impenetrable defense and potent offense, Penn State Harrisburg grabbed the easy victory.
The Nittany Lions will look to grasp another shutout victory against the Mounties of Mt. Aloysius College on Wednesday, September 22th at 4:00 PM in Cresson, PA.
