Men's Golf Takes Part In F&M Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. – Penn State Harrisburg men's golf was in action at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club on Monday afternoon, Oct. 15. The Lions finished 14th out of 17 competing teams with a total score of 337 (+53).

 

Harrisburg was led by Jake Searer and Geoff Warke, with each player shooting an 82 (+11) on the day, good enough to earn them a share of 60th place at the par-71 event.

 

Josh Africa finished 73rd (86, +15), Andrew Fink's 87 (+16) earned him a tie for 75th place and Josh Swartz rounded out the Blue & White contingency in 81st (91, +20).

 

F&M's White squad won the team trophy with a score of 284 (E), while Penn State Berks' Andrew Cornish won the individual title thanks to an effort of 67 (-4).

 

The Lions will wrap up their fall season when they take part in the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley at the Lebanon Country Club on Monday, Oct. 22.
