Hoare and Miller Lead Golf Team at Lebanon Valley College’s Dutchman Invitational

LEBANON, Pa. – The Penn State Harrisburg golf team traveled to Lebanon on Monday to compete in the LVC Dutchman Invitational.  The Lions managed to earn an 8th place finish out of the 12 teams competing in the contest.  Their combined score on the day came to 340—52 over par.

Matthew Hoare and Keith Miller both led the Blue and White with a shared tie of 11th place overall.  Both finished the day with scores of +8 (80) on the par 72 course and Lebanon Country Club.

Chanont Premon finished just behind, with a +12 (84), good for 26th place.

Miguel Rocero rounded out the day for the Lions, finishing with a +24 (96), earning a 51st place finish.

The Lebanon Valley – Blue squad took top honors on the day, finishing with a team score of 307, combining for only +19 over par.

Thomas Moran of the Lebanon Valley – Blue team earned the first-place trophy, finishing one under par with a score of 71.

Penn State Harrisburg's next outing will be on Tuesday, April 11th, at Ledgerock Golf Club in Mohnton, Pa.  Alvernia College will host.
