NEAC Recognizes Plummer For Second-Straight Week

GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – After another stellar outing on the links this past weekend, it should come as no surprise that Penn State Harrisburg golfer Matt Plummer (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, this time for the period ending Sunday, Sep. 23.

The sophomore shot a school-record -1 71 on the first day of Penn State Harrisburg's Fall Invitational on Friday, Sep. 21.  He followed it up by shooting a 74 in the second round on Saturday, Sep. 22 to give him a two-day total of 145, good enough for a sixth place finish of 75 participants, the highest of any Lion golfer.  To date, the CV grad has finished second, sixth and sixth in the blue and white's first three tournaments this fall.
