Baylor-Carroll Earns Conference Weekly Honors

LATHAM, N.Y. – Penn State Harrisburg's Donyae Baylor-Carroll has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

 

Baylor-Carroll led the Blue & White to a pair of victories last week. The sophomore recorded a double-double and flirted with a triple-double in a win at Gallaudet on Wednesday night, scoring 25 points, connecting on seven 3-pointers, dishing out 10 assists, grabbing seven rebounds and swiping a pair of steals. The Harrisburg, Pa. native followed it up with 25 points, six 3-balls, five assists, two steals and a pair of boards in a victory over Penn College on Saturday afternoon. For the week, the guard averaged 25 points per contest on 54.8 shooting from the field and 52 percent shooting from 3-point range. He also averaged 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and two steals per game.

 

For Baylor-Carroll, it is his second weekly honor of the season. He along, with teammate Dylan Daniels, are Penn State Harrisburg players to have earned the conference award this winter.

 

The Lions (12-6, 8-1 NEAC) return to action when they travel to Lancaster Bible for conference action on Wednesday night, Feb. 5.
