Newport News, VA – Penn State Harrisburg's Men's Basketball could not hold on to a six-point halftime lead, falling on the road to Christopher Newport. Chris Bing led the Lions with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Battling some foul trouble, Kahlil Williams added 14 points as well.

How It Happened:

Christopher Newport took an early 17-7 led in the first few minutes of the first half, but the Lions would respond. Chris Bing and Kahlil Williams would lead the Lions rally, knocking down shots and getting to the free throw line. Bing would draw fouls on back to back possessions later in the half, making four free throws to give the Lions their first lead of the game. Tariq Bennett would close the half with a corner three-pointer, giving the Lions a six-point lead at the break. Trent Thomas would start the half with a three-pointer to extend Harrisburg's advantage. The Captains would answer going on an 11-2 run to tie the game. The teams would trade the lead back and forth with the Captains capturing a late advantage.
