How it Happened:

After the Seagulls opened the game on a 8-2 run, Trent Thomas answered with a three-point basket. The Lions continued to chase the Seagulls throughout the half getting important baskets for Anthony Bennett Jr and Brandon Coleman, but could not consistently cut into the deficit entering halftime down by 15. The Lions struggled in the opening minutes of the second half, quickly falling behind by as many as 23 points. The Lions would close the gap thanks to a couple of three-point shots from Tariq Bennett, but could not get within 11 points.
