Arlington, Va.- Wednesday January 13, after a win against Southern Virginia on Saturday, the Penn State Harrisburg men's basketball team looked to get their fifth conference win tonight against Marymount (Va.). With ten lead changes throughout the game, it was easy to see both teams wanted to get the win. Harrisburg stood strong and proved to be the better team by winning 82-75. 

As the first half got underway, Marymount jumped out to an early lead, 12-6. Kahlil Williams (Philadelphia, Pa. / Central) put Harrisburg back on track with his first layup of the evening. Teammate Arick Sodini (Manalapan, N.J. / St. John Vianney) stepped up with his first three to put Harrisburg one behind the home team. As the game progressed, both teams battled back and forth to stay on top. There were four lead changes in the last few minutes of the half. As the Lions trailed by four, Jazmon Harris (Baltimore, Md. / Patterson) came up big with a three pointer and jumper back to back. Harris was able to tie the game up at 26. The next few minutes both teams struggled to find a basket. Sodini eventually found the basket with his fourth three of the night while also giving Harrisburg the lead with 2 minutes to go. As the clock counted down to less then 10 seconds, Winton Lyle (Washington D.C. / The Bullis) fought to steal the ball from the Saints. Lyle was able to pass the ball ahead to Sodini who then hit a bucket as the buzzer hit zero. Harrisburg led going into halftime 34-32. 

Anthony Morgan (York, Pa. / New Hope Academy) came out hot in the second half with two back to back layups that put Harrisburg on top by four. The Saints battled back to regain the lead at 46-39. Sodini drained his fifth three of the day to get Harrisburg back on track. Harris buried a jumper to tie the game up at 50. After tying the game back up, Marymount responded by going on a run to lead the Lions by six with seven minutes to go. Penn State Harrisburg worked together as a team to come back and tie the game up with only two minutes left. Morgan came through for the Lions again with a layup to extend their lead to three. Just a few seconds later, Harris hit his second three pointer of the day to put Harrisburg on top by six with forty-three seconds to go. Harrisburg dominated the last few seconds of play to get their tenth win of the year. Sodini paced Harrisburg with 18 points and three rebounds. 

Penn State will be back in action on Saturday January 16th. The Lions will host St. Mary's at 3 pm. Saturday's game will also be basketball camper appreciation day.
