MIDDLETOWN, Pa.- Thanks to his strong play in the Lions' two victories this past week, Penn State Harrisburg senior captain Kenton Alston (Harrisburg, PA/Steel-High) has been named the North Eastern Athletic Conference's (NEAC) men's basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the time period ending Dec. 4.
The Steel-High alum dropped 17 points on Penn State Schuylkill and tallied a game-high four blocks in the Lions' 105-78 blowout win on Monday, Nov. 28. He followed it up with an even better performance against conference foe Penn State Berks on Saturday, Dec. 3. The versatile forward scored a season-best 23 points while racking up ten rebounds, three blocks and three steals in the blue and white's dramatic 81-79 victory. For the week, Alston averaged 20 points per game, as well as 6.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, two assists and two steals per contest.
