The Penn State Harrisburg Student Athletic Advisory Committe (SAAC) recently visited Mary Washington University to participate in the bi-annual meeting. This year on top of meeting as a conference to go over important items that involve the different campuses and their respective SAAC programs; it became a special event as the athletes spent a part of their day with a group of Special Olympic athletes.
They played kickball and soccer at a local indoor facility nearbye. This made the day special for not just the CAC athletes, but also the many Special Olympic athletes in attendance. Rachel Shetler from the women's soccer team and Will Chaney from the men's baseball team attended the event for Penn State Harrisburg.
