- Carlos Medina is entering his second season as Penn
State Harrisburg’s head assistant baseball coach. Coach
Medina is also the athletic department's game day
manager.
- Prior to taking the job at Penn State Harrisburg, Medina
coached at Lancaster Catholic High school where he helped lead the
Crusader's to their first league championship in 2013. He
also helped guide three players to the All-State team that season.
Medina has also been coaching at a variety of different camps and
programs for the past six years.
- Medina was a standout at Manheim Township High School in
Lancaster where he played first and third base while hitting in the
fourth position for most of his career their. Following his
time with the Blue Streaks, Medina took his talents to Bloomsburg
University. After two years as a starter, he then transfered
to Millersville University to finish his collegiate
career.
- While at Millersville, Medina helped to lead the team to an
Atlantic Regional Championship and a trip to the NCAA Division II
College World Series in 2011.
- Medina currently resides in Middletown, Pa. with assitant
basketball coach Mike Zito.
