Lion's Fall in CAC Matchup to York (Pa.)

York, Pa.- After a big win yesterday against Messiah, the Penn State Harrisburg baseball team looked to extend their winning streak against York (Pa). The Lion's had a strong opening and closing inning but could unfortunately could not overcome the home team's offense with a 9-6 loss to the Spartans.

Game Highlights:

In the top of the first, Penn State Harrisburg came out strong with a double down the left line from Ethan Kell to put two runs on the board by Zachary Koroneos and Josh Brubaker. The Spartans added two runs of their own in the bottom of the first with a single to right field and a run off a wild pitch. The Spartans added one more in the second with a fly ball to center field and a single in the third to lead 4-2. In the fourth inning, York extended their lead to 5 with a home run and three RBI's. Jackson Struve doubled in the top of the seventh to advance Tyler Aug to home plate. The home team added two final runs in the eighth inning before Harrisburg had one more chance to take back the game in the ninth. Brubaker singled to right field followed by a single from Ethan Kell who added two more runs thanks to Brubaker and David Klein. The Lion's final effort was not enough to overcome York's early lead.
